What are meetings like?
Our meetings are for Fremont residents, FNC members, and general curiosity-holders alike. They are free and open to the public with no registration required. During our meetings, you typically learn about 1-2 local issues and opportunities to make your voice heard, connect in-person with neighbors, and have a positive third place to go. There is time at the end for community announcements if you want to share local news/events or find neighbors to help you with an idea. Contact us with meeting topic suggestions.
A typical FNC meeting may include:
Community input e.g. SDOT talking about changes to bus line 40 & soliciting feedback
Civic engagement e.g. a city council member or their legislative aide coming for a Q&A
Neighborhood education e.g. Woodland Park Zoo explaining changes & construction
