Free disposal at city transfer stations as SPU catches up after #SnowMageddon

Weather permitting, residential solid waste collection will resume on February 13 on delayed schedule. Please see updated collection plans: atyourservice.seattle.gov  

We appreciate the challenges from these delayed services and apologize forthe inconvenience to our customers, as we recover from these major stormevents. Seattle Public Utilities is also providing free disposal of garbage,recycling or yard/food waste at city transfer stations on Feb 13-16 forcustomers impacted by over a week of delayed services.

We also need your help. Please help us with successful service recovery thisweek by providing access to your waste carts, including removing snow fromaround the cans, loosening cans from ice, and if needed, moving cans to areasthat can be better accessed by our trucks.Thanks for your support and patience as we work tocollect all missed wastes and recover full services
