Lower Fremont to feel Impact of Seattle Marathon 10K August 24
This just in from the Seattle Marathon 10K Aug. 24--
The third annual Seattle Marathon 10k Race will be taking place on Saturday, August 24, 2013. Included on this day will be a 10k Run/Walk event as well as a .6-mile Kids Fun Run. This year’s summer 10K Race has a new course [in Fremont] that will start and end at Gas Works Park and will use the Burke-Gilman Trail, as well as Fremont and Wallingford streets. These neighborhoods have been home to the Seattle Marathon Association for years and we feel that this new location will better showcase the beauty that Seattle has to offer.
