On the first Tuesday evening in August every year, Seattle allows neighborhood street closures for Seattle Night Out parties. Hold one, or attend one, and meet y
our neighbors. Many of these parties are potlucks, so bring a salad or a casserole and plan to stay for conversation. Some parties are registered, so you can find them here: http://www.seattle.gov/spd/Nightout/nightoutevents.htm Seattle's Department of Neighborhoods offered Small Sparks grants this year to support party activities, such as music and refreshments. Find a party near you, or host one. And enjoy!
