Movie Night: A Big Hit!

A big thank you to everyone who came out for Movie Night! Almost 200 people turned out to watch pre-show short cartoons and films (Squatch on the Rocks!) and the main feature, School of Rock. The popcorn and cotton candy were also a big hit! Fremont Neighbors turning out means we can do this again next year and maybe keep it as an occurring event.

It took a whole lot of effort to make this happen. A big thanks to our sponsors: Lighthouse Coffee Roasters, Kevin Zelko Real Estate Broker, Comfort Keepers, Bill Crossman, Fremont Sunday Market, and the Holland Partners Group.

It was also a huge effort by volunteers with the FNC. It wouldn’t have happened without the vision, brainstorming, research, permitting, hard work and outreach of Brandon Shimko. Many others put in hours of posting flyers, getting insurance, applying for grants, managing finances, serving popcorn and cotton candy, setting up and taking down the event and so much more. A special shout-out to John Luethe for putting in a long shift at the very popular popcorn machine!
